XRFLON® R204

XRFLON® R204 is a high-performance modified gasket made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin filled with hollow glass microspheres. The R204 is subjected to repeated roller pressing, creating a highly fibrillated structure. And inorganic fillers are more homogeneously blended with PTFE resins, ensuring the R204 has more stably physical and mechanical properties, minimizing creep relaxation and cold flow problems associated with traditional PTFE gaskets.

Modified with hollow glass microspheres enhances the usefulness of XRFLON® R204 to compensate for unevenness or surface damage to the flange. R204 is often used for low-load applications. Bolt seals, various corrosive fluids, pipe flanges, etc.
