Application of DSF100 in Evaporators

Problems Encountered:

Customers use hard PTFE gaskets for sealing in the evaporator, but due to its poor creep resistance, there are frequent leaks in the process of use. The customer learnt about the creep resistance of our expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sealing products from the Internet, and contacted us specifically.

Solution:

According to the customer's application conditions, we recommended DSF100, which is a porous expanded strip made of 100% pure PTFE. The strip is soft, compressible, easy to form and highly fibrous internally, providing better filling properties, creep resistance and, most importantly - consistent sealing performance. Excellent creep resistance ensures no leakage due to creep during long-term use, and the material's self-adhesive backing makes installation easier, reducing the time required to customise gaskets and lowering downtime costs.
